Out and about in the Triumphs

Took MOE to the Club Triumph National, she wasn't her usual self, quite strange because she had been running a treat, the only thing I had done differently is fill her up with Tescos unleaded.(£68!) She coughed and spluttered especially on the way back, I was going to take a look at the points and things, but after a couple of dry days I took her out again and hey presto shes fine.

It's pretty obvious to me now that she really didn't like the wet, so I will invest in some replacement leads, maybe a coil too. The good news, running well on unleaded from Tesco's and no pinking. The other problem is still the clunky suspension/steering, a new recon professionally fitted (expensive) rack has failed to solve the problem, I've noticed some wear in the top column bush, but it's too remote a noise to be coming from there.

Our local meeting last night was well attended with 10+ cars including two heralds which were not known to the group, I took the Courier out for a change, it's a lovely drive, just a noisy UJ and some nice disc brakes required, I gave it a bit of stick through the tunnels under the city, I got some surprised looks of a couple of BMW drivers when I went sailing past.
