Took some more photos of the spitfire the years haven't been kind, but get this after 37 years the engine has compression and turn

s by hand, I suspect it has been laid up correctly

MOE to the rescue

I used MOE with a car trailer to pick up a Mk 3 Spitfire,, could be described as a barn find, it was last on the road in 1977 and to be honest it is going to be a real labour of love. The metal bodywork is poor needing complete refurbishment, it has an overdrive gearbox and GT6 type hardtop by Williams and Pritchard which seems to be in good order, it has a swing spring too.
I haven't used MOE for this sort of work before but she took it in her stride, averaging 25 mpg for the 300 mile round trip from Brum and back.

Drive it day and West Midlands monthly meeting

We had a day out together on Drive it Day it consisted of a trrip around West Midlands and Worcestershire

 We have a good turn out at our local meetings the first Tuesday is the most popular, this month saw 24 cars turn out, it was a lovely evening with most folk out and about around the car park. It was nice to see the Moggie amongst us to.

Star 90 at Gaydon

It's been awhile since I have been able to access my computer, the kindle has kept me updated with email etc.
So I attended the Star 90 at Gaydon an excellent turn out with a rare nice day, MOE was on the Club Triumph stand, these are a few photos.
